Restricted mobility

Those who rely on wheelchairs, walking frames or walking sticks to get about do not generally require special features on telephones, although cordless or mobile phones can be very useful. Positioning of the telephone and the means of access to it may be critical, but these are not features of the terminal and are outside the scope of this booklet.
